Episode 22: We put the fun in fundraising - ACS Breast Cancer Programs in the Twin Cities

Maryann Malec (pronounced "Malik") is a Senior Development Manager for the American Cancer Society and oversees all things in the "Pink Space" for breast cancer fundraising; Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Men Wear Pink Campaign here in Minnesota.

She's no stranger to the non-profit world and has a passion for helping people. Previously, she was a Senior Donor Recruitment Manager for Memorial Blood Centers, saving lives one pint at a time. Now she is determined to end breast cancer as we know it for everyone. She takes her work very personally as her Polish immigrant Mom and Aunt were breast cancer Survivors.

When not conquering breast cancer, you can find her walking her pup, Olive, swinging clubs at golf courses or supporting locally owned coffee shops!
