Episode 21: The Bill Nobody Talks About, Advocacy, Equity and Financial Toxicity
Victoria Seamon is the founder of Survivors Bliss, a healing‑centered organization inspired by her personal journey through Stage 3 breast cancer. As a Black woman navigating a complex healthcare system, she witnessed firsthand the disparities, biases, and financial burdens that disproportionately impact Black and BIPOC women. Her experience ignited a passion for advocacy, equity, and culturally responsive care.
With a background in mental health, trauma‑informed practice, and community support, Victoria blends professional expertise with lived experience to create programs that honor the whole person—emotionally, spiritually, financially, and culturally. Survivors Bliss is being built to lead trauma groups, facilitate community healing spaces, and advocate for systemic change in survivorship care.
Survivors Bliss represents a full‑circle mission—one that transforms pain into purpose, channels lived experience into collective healing, and ensures survivors are not only supported but empowered to reclaim their voice and purpose. Victoria believes survivors are essential to the cure, and her work reflects a deep commitment to honoring those lost, uplifting those still fighting, and strengthening the path forward for every survivor.
