Episode 13: Breaking Down the Diagnosis - Understanding Breast Cancer Step by Step

Courtney Daniel is a stay-at-home mom to four boys, ranging in age from 8 to 19. She and her husband, Brian, have been married for twenty years and have made their home in Maple Grove, where they own and operate a stone and tile installation business. Before her cancer diagnosis at age 41, Courtney began a fitness journey that led her to bikini bodybuilding. She credits the leanness required for competition with helping her detect a tumor early, empowering her to begin immediate self-advocacy. As the first in her circle to receive a diagnosis, Courtney has since been honored to support and walk alongside many women at the beginning of their own cancer journeys. She is a proud national supporter of METAvivor, Camp Kesem, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), and she actively supports local organizations including Angel Foundation and Firefly Sisterhood.
