Episode 10: Amber Carden
Amber is a physical therapist who specializes in breast cancer rehab. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Missouri in 2018. She then went on to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and worked in hospital-based outpatient care for nearly 4 years providing care heavily in lymphatics, while also treating ortho, neuro, and basic wound care.
Amber is also certified by Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) and was in the first class to become certified in Cosmetic Surgery Therapy (CCST). Today, Amber runs a mobile physical therapy practice called Ribbon Rehab in Minneapolis, Minnesota that allows her to treat clients within the comfort of their own homes.
She is extremely passionate about assisting in the recovery process after breast cancer treatments and using her lymphatic physical therapy skills to decrease any restrictions & speed up the overall healing process.
